🔒 Bandhu is built on anonymity. We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the service — and nothing more. We never sell your data.

1. Who We Are

Bandhu ("we", "us", "our") is an anonymous emotional support service operated at bandhu.online. Our contact email is suno@bandhu.online.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide our service:

Nickname — optional, chosen by you. Can be anything or nothing.
Email address — optional, only if you provide it to receive a reply. We recommend using a temporary email for full anonymity.
Messages — the content you share with us via our messaging form.
Payment information — processed entirely by PhonePe / payment gateway. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
Technical data — basic server logs (IP address, browser type) for security purposes only. Not linked to your identity.

We do not collect your real name, phone number, Aadhaar, PAN, or any government-issued identity unless you voluntarily share it (please don't).

3. How We Use Your Information

To respond to your messages with care and support
To confirm and conduct voice call bookings
To process payments through our payment gateway partner
To improve our service quality

We never use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the Bandhu service.

4. Voice Calls

Voice calls on Bandhu are conducted over an encrypted internet connection (Google Meet or equivalent). Your phone number is never shared with or visible to the Bandhu team. Calls are never recorded under any circumstances.

5. Data Retention

Messages — deleted from our systems after 90 days by default
Email addresses — deleted upon request or after 1 year of inactivity
Payment records — retained as required by Indian tax law (7 years)
Call booking details — deleted after 30 days

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

Payment processors (PhonePe, Cashfree) — to process your subscription payment
Calendar/booking tools (Calendly) — to manage call bookings
Legal obligations — if required by Indian law or a valid court order

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request deletion of your data at any time
Request a copy of any data we hold about you
Withdraw consent for us to contact you
File a complaint with the relevant data protection authority

8. Cookies

Bandhu uses minimal cookies — only those necessary for the website to function (session cookies). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that identify you personally.

9. Children's Privacy

Bandhu is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has used our service, please contact us immediately at suno@bandhu.online.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including SSL encryption on all pages, secure email handling, and restricted access to message data. However, no internet service is 100% secure — please do not share information you would consider extremely sensitive.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of Bandhu after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
